Our Histories

We have created these history pages to show all of you where we came from; our roots, per se.
Each group of photos shows a different path to the same place - the New Monopoly.
We hope you enjoy this little slice of our history.

Annapolis Formal

Annapolis Formal Bohagers 12/8/01 - Sharon's First Night

These photos were taken late 2001 after the addition of our horn section, Patrick and Craig. This addition brought the band to 7 pieces and completed the band's transition from a basic 6 piece rhythm group Leading up to this shift, Cliff, original drummer and former partner with Scott and Justin, had left the group to join a local reggae act. Chris joined us upon Cliff's departure and has been providing a solid backbone ever since. Also around this time, Justin took over bass guitar duties from original bass player, John. It was decided at this time that we would add a regular horn section to the group - Craig had performed with us as a trombone add-in on some prior engagements and was brought on full-time. Shortly after, Patrick was added on trumpet and vocals A few months later, Brandy moved on to a solo opportunity, so at that point, Sharon joined us, bringing her versatility to the group We also made major changes to our support staff and systems, added a much improved light-show, promoted Bill to front-of-house sound engineer (from his previous stage manager position), and added additional costuming for our show material.

Bill was an original member of the group, along with Scott and Justin.

Mid-2002
Glen D., Chris D.'s brother, had just joined the group in replacement of guitarist Scottie R.

Late 2003
Doug Lewis had joined the group to become our eighth piece.

In late 2006, Mary M. was replaced with Jessica D. to form the current line-up, seen below in Nov 2006.
